Some German before Italy

Hi again, all!

So, this week Dash is going to be in Italy on a solo trip.
We figured it'd be impossible to truly enjoy the sights with the kids at this age, so it'd be best for him to go on his own.
Plus, last week his father passed away after a long struggle with his health that kept him constantly in and out of the hospital. So Dash will be able to get some much deserved solo time to do some contemplating and reminiscing about his father while in Italy...the homeland of his father's side of the family! :D

To see him off, we went to a German-style cervezeria that we first fell in love with three years back when we came to Barcelona to celebrate Dash's 40th birthday.
It's called Salzberg and has the nifty feature of built-in beer taps right at the booths. The food is mostly either frankfurts or hamburgers, which we love. But the real fun is how each booth is ranked according to how much beer has been consumed from the tap...and it's displayed on a central screen for all to see! Sort of like a friendly drinking challenge, fu fu fu~

Anyway, we were joined by the ever-wonderful prima Andrea, and her half-German friend Sara, so it was a lively time with good joking around as well as heated political debate.

Here are a couple of shots from our night:

Red-n-blue...blue-n-red!!

L>R: Dash, me, Andrea, Sara! ♡

So yep!
Me 'n' the kids will be enjoying another "Mommycation" and have already written down all the activities we want to do.
They include: Sagrada Familia, Park Guell, Garaf beach, Tibidabo Amusement Park, the library, more pool, and maybe finding some bicyles!!

We will miss you, Dash, but we know you are going to have a wonderful time!!
All our loooove!!!

Until next time, take care and Happy German-Italy Adventures!!!
