Ella's Learning Tower

Hello there.

I have been meaning to blog about this since Ella Rose turned two years old!
Yes, this was a gift for her second birthday and something that has gotten a lot of use over the past year plus.
Her very own Learning Tower.

Ella Rose, age 2 -- memorieeeees ;_;
 You can buy a Learning Tower from Little Partners off of Amazon for close to $200. Ouch!
Or...you can make your own! :)

By simply gleaning the dimensions off of the Amazon page, and using his woodworking knowledge, Dash was able to create our very own homemade version. Go Dash!!
And it was made using a combo of old scrap wood found in the wood shed that came fully loaded from the previous owners of the house, plus wood from Habitat For Humanity! Double salvage score!! Grand total...around $20.
Buya.

Instead of keeping it the original untreated style, we painted it white and pink.
And you can't really tell in these photos, but it easily fits two kiddos, at least up to age 3 we have seen. :)

This thing has really helped Ella Rose become a consistent helper in the kitchen because it gives her the height needed to reach the countertops and is more steady than some chair or stool.

In short, we all love it.

If you'd like one of your own, you should talk to Dash!
In fact, I think he should make a little side business making and selling them.
I will let you know of any developments on that front~

Until tomorrow, Happy Learning Tower!!
